J Leufer & Sons Jewellers are one of the longest serving family businesses in Galway & one of the longest established jewellers in Ireland.
Pictured is Joseph Leufer founder of Leufers Jewellers at his premises in Bishop Street, Tuam, Co.Galway in 1878. He came to Ireland from the Black Forest in Germany in the latter half of the 19th century. A watchmaker by trade, his legacy & expertise has carried on through the generations.
In 1971, his grandson, Joe, opened the second jewellery store in The Square, Tuam.
Going from strength to strength, and currently being run by the 4th generation of the Leufer family, J Leufer & Sons has remained a name for quality & service in County Galway.
